Hi! My name is Arjun Kapur, and I’m part of the class of 2026 at the Pingry School in New Jersey. You can usually find me exploring the outdoors with my Labradoodle, Meekah, reading the news, listening to podcasts, hanging out at a local art museum, or learning about sustainability efforts around the world!
Ever since I can remember, I have loved being hands-on. Growing up, I loved going on hikes and spending time with nature, and as I have grown, it has translated into something much bigger. It all took a turn at the beginning of high school, when I became very passionate about sustainability and how I could express my feelings about the climate crisis. Through this blog, I cover policy changes, environmentally related innovations, and equity-related topics. As an avid artist, I found my voice through drawing, painting, and sculpting, blending engineering ideas with the environmental issues I care about.
From there, I started bringing all these interests together and digging deeper into the environmental issues that shape the world around us. I’ll be sharing that work and everything I learn here on this website!
Some fun facts about me: I like whistling (much to others’ annoyance!), love pointing out squirrels to Meekah, going to the gym, hanging out with friends, and driving. Recently, I have been trying to learn how to cook (this is going to be a long journey) 🙂
I am so excited to go on this journey with you!!!
